As one element of the Monument to the Pioneers of our solar system, this skymapping Astrolabe with the Earth illustrates its own navigational path and positioning. It is the only world in our solar system with liquid water on the surface. Currently, Earth is the only planet inhabited by living things, that we know of.
This brass planet sculpture on detailed astrolabe stand is hand-finished in the same process as those in the Museum of the Future's Orrery and includes an engraved inscription and Limited Edition markings on the bottom.
